Virtual On Twin Stick Project - Worklog 2

Just quick update today…

Started soldering, forgot how annoying that can be when the damn stuff doesn’t take, it’s probably not helped by the fact my soldering iron is the cheapest on the face of the earth.

Anyway, i’ve wired one of the quickshots to the disembodied innards of the 360 pad and low and behold… it sorta works… i’ve only wired the directional buttons for now and up and down work perfectly. I think the diagram i’m working from might’ve mixed up the signal and common solder spots which is a bit of a sod, back to the drawing board. At least i’m getting some success though i’m dead chuffed! :D

Thanks! in fact just now i’ve totally rewired everything and actually have 1 stick 100% working! i’d burned out some of the pcb on the xbox pad, but luckily i managed to bridge the connection in elsewhere.
