I’m a big fan of space shooters, the X-Wing series, Freespace, Freelancer, you name it. It’s a genre that’s been fairly ignored in recent years, so when it was announced a shooter was being developed based on Battlestar Galactica, one of the finest TV shows ever I was more than a little excited!
It’s a browser based MMO – I was originally a concerned browser-based meant a compromise on quality but the Unity Web Player technology makes it a great looking game(VRML eat your heart out!). The beta has just gone public so sign up and give it a go!
