Some 36 hours ago, the “The 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake” as it’s now being called struck Japan. Measuring 9.0 on the Richter Scale it caused terrible devastation leaving thousands homeless and many more missing.

I’ve had a few days to reflect on my interview now, so it’s time to yammer on about it for a bit.

It’s been a pretty miserable couple of weeks, with harsh weather battering the country making getting into work a nightmare. A big cheerup arrived today in the form of a card from Japan!

Our penultimate day in Japan, we took in the best taste of old Japan Tokyo has to offer.
