Last April, I blogged about the tragic fire which wrecked one of Saltaires classic buildings and left it’s future in doubt. Well not anymore, it reopened today!

Yesterday was my 26th birthday (i’m starting to feel old!) and Emma took me on the Steam train at Keighley and Worth Valley Railway! Despite Keighley itself being a bit of a dive, the station is really well kept with loads of classic adverts, signs and fittings.

Today Manchester’s streets played host to hundreds of the shambling undead in an attempt to break a Guinness world record and also raise money for charity. Sadly the record wasn’t broken (a mere 160 Zombies short!) but a great and slightly weird time was had by all!

I’m back from my internetless, phoneless and just about everything elseless holiday in Wales! Had an absolutely brilliant time & really lucked out with the weather!

Friday was our 3 year anniversary, so I took Emma away to a swanky hotel for the night, popped the question and she said yes!
